David Wright Poweroutage?

Posted by tmoney022 on June 29, 2009

David Wright, the Mets third baseman, is having another All-Star caliber season.  This year David Wrights homerun numbers are down but his RBIs are still in sync with his previous seasons.  Wright has an amazing NL leading average of .346.  I think Wright’s change from 30 home run seasons to what appears to be a mid .300 season is probably for the better.  With the Mets overhauled bullpen and power hitters of Delgado and Sheffield if Wright is on as much as he is thats more runs for the Mets and improves there playoff caliber team.  What’s your opinion 30 home runs or .350 average?
